Church Opportunities
PRESCHOOL MINISTRY

Nursery Assistant: Provide care for infants and toddlers (e.g., feeding, diapering, consoling, and following children’s routines), 2 openings for the 11:00 service.
Substitutes: Sub for small group leaders as needed for both hours.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Small Group Leaders: Connect relationally with a group of children on Sunday morning by participating in activities, discussions, and prayer, 4 openings for the 9:30 service (3 females and 1 male). 1 opening (male) at the 11:00 service.
Large Group Hosts: Kick off morning program with enthusiam once a month, 1 opening at the 9:30 service.
Substitutes: Sub for small group leaders on Sundays as needed for both hours.
Tecnnical/Support Team: Provide support to the Worship Leader(s) by operating computer for video components or helping with audio needs once a month.
STUDENT MINISTRY (6th through 12th Grade)

Small Group Leaders: Connect relationally with a group of middle or high school students and facilitate group discussions, openings 9:30 Sunday mornings.
HOST AND SET-UP TEAMS

Set-Up Team: Help change a school into a church and back again. (Once a month commitment)
Host Team: Engage visitors and regular attendees before service (Twice a month commitment)
MUSIC & PRODUCTION

Band: Assist worship leader by playing drums, percussions, keys, electric/acoustic guitar, or bass guitar. Some stage/gigging experience, ability to write/learn your own parts, and your personal equipment required.
Mic Teams: Assist worship leader by singing on one of two teams - Mic 1 & Mic 2. Each team has different levels of commitment, experience, and expectations, but both are open to anyone.
Tech Teams: Sound Team, Lighting, Computer Graphics Team, and Production Manager. If you would like to run sound, lights, or computer graphics or are good at managing details and seeing the big picture of production, we have opportunities for you.
LOCAL AND GLOBAL OUTREACH

The Missional Opportunities Team at FCSW exists to help identify and provide opportunities for you to engage in ministry outside the four walls of the church. Our goal isn’t to program your life outside of Sunday, but to equip you with the ability to do ministry and meet real needs where you are.
